Though we have many youth focused programs, we are also aware that adults are children too! ADULT JAM SESSION INFO/FAQ
The adult Jam session is a mixed skill level session intended to foster people playing with other people in a supportive and positive environment.
Sessions vary widely in content and we maintain an open and accepting vibe for new song additions.
The group listens to a song, finds appropriate charts or creates a chart, then practices specific parts before playing the song all the way through.
Participants can play drums, bass, guitar, voice, and piano (or a horn if you bring one!).
We do our best to accommodate multiple of the same instrument, but cannot always field this need, in which case we rotate on instruments and try new things as well.
Our instructors are professional musicians with a lot of live performance and direction experience. It is important to understand that it is challenging to foster many different skill types in the same jam session to maintain a progressive result for each attendee.
