FALL 2016 IS UNDER WAY ! ! !

That's right, people, we're off and running with our FALL 2016 SEASON.  We are still enrolling students in our shows based on instrument needs, which are noted below.  Please Send along to anyone who may be interested, or contact us at info@rockprojectsf.org if you are one who is interested!

** GOLDEN GATE ROCKERS **   **enrolling all instruments

We're excited to get the Golden Gate Rockers rocking this Fall!  This program is for students who have some experience playing, but are still learning the ropes.  Typically for students age 8 - 11.

WEDNESDAYS: Golden Gate Rockers

Rehearsal time: 5:00p-7:30p

** FALL 2016 PERFORMANCE PROJECTS **

These programs are for experience players; those who have taken the stage before, or who have a strong skill set on their instrument.

Here's what we're doing this FALL season:

FRIDAYS: ORIGINAL SONGWRITING   **enrolling all instruments (limited slots) Rehearsal time: 5:00p-7:30p

We return, to a season of original songwriting! This will be our 7th originals session overall, and basically our 4th in row (not including a break over summer)!

Over the past seasons, we've gotten better and better at arranging student works, and recording them.  The turnaround time for the recordings takes a little while, but the songs are amazing and the students learn a great deal about the process of recording their own music.

SATURDAYS (AM): A Tribute to PRINCE!  **enrolling vocalists Rehearsal time: 11:00a-1:30p

This past Spring, the world lost another amazing artist, reminding us that the mortality of the human body is inevitable; however, the music lives on, and we are honored to have a chance to learn some of Prince's incredible songs and perform them for our community.

SATURDAYS (PM): RIOT GRRRL ! ! !  **open for guitarists and vocalists
Riot grrrl is an underground feminist hardcore punk movement that originated in the early 1990s in Washington State (particularly Olympia) and the greater Pacific Northwest.

This is an exciting one for us!  We've covered some of the bands that define the Riot Grrrl movement, but now it's time to make it the focus one of our Fall themes.  Bands we might cover: Sleater Kinney, Bratmobile, Le Tigre, Wild Flag, Voodoo Queens and more...

Rehearsal time: 5:00p-7:30p

If you are interested in enrolling your student in one of our programs, please contact us at info@rockprojectsf.org, or call us at (415) 495-7625.

Monthly tuition for enrollment in a Performance Project is $350. If you're interested, please contact us.

Enrolled students can opt to add a second instrument (with lesson) each season for an additional $185 per month.
